Well the time has certainly flown by in the last year. Holly has had her first birthday and it will soon be a year since she arrived at Folly Hall Farm. Over the year she has enjoyed meeting and playing with the many dogs that visited us during the Summer months, plenty of playmates for her. Easter isn't far away so I'm sure she'll be seeking out some new furry friends at the campsite. She still loves to go to the beach, doesn't matter how cold it is she's always keen for a dip, rather her than me! At this time of the year the beaches are deserted, just a few dog walkers and the odd fisherman. We've been enjoying early morning walks on Whitby beach, often walking to Sandsend, having a coffee and then walking back to Whitby, this certainly wears her out and me! Runswick Bay is our closest beach, which we often pop to for an afternoon walk. If we time it right, we sometimes pop into The Royal Hotel for a drink, they have an outside terrace where you have a fantastic view of the bay. They are dog friendly so if the weather isn't in your favour you can always sit inside, great food too!

Well we are looking forward to another busy season, looking forward to seeing our regular guests again and welcoming new ones too. Fingers crossed for a lovely Summer.
