When will Spring fully arrive? This Winter seems to have gone on and on, we are in desperate need of some sunny days. Easter was a wash out as far as the start of the camping & caravanning season goes. The fields were and still are standing in water. We had a few hardy souls over Easter, who arrived with their wellies and wet weather gear, no need for any sunscreen just yet! Hopefully things will improve very soon! 

Not long now until the Spring Whitby Goth weekend of 2018, 27th - 29th April. This is a huge event for Whitby, where the town is invaded by "Goths", a very friendly group of people, old and young who like to dress in their gothic costumes and parade the streets or attend the different events around Whitby during the weekend. It's a perfect people watching weekend, find a cafe or a bar to sit outside and just enjoy watching them parade by and soak up the atmosphere. A great weekend for everyone whether you are a goth or not.
