Well Easter weekend saw us welcome our first guests to the site. We had a total of 5 caravans/motor homes who were brave souls to venture out with the weather forecast not sounding very promising. Good Friday was a beautiful sunny day which everyone enjoyed. By Saturday night this had changed dramatically and storm Katie started to make her presence felt!

I was quite relieved when I looked out on Easter Day to see all 5 were still present and in one piece! The Easter bunny made a visit to our garden and to the campsite, so Lindt chocolate rabbits were enjoyed by all. By the end of the weekend Katie had made the campsite decidedly soggy!

We enjoyed our traditional Easter traditions of rolling our eggs ( hard boiled eggs) down the field, then the good bit of eating them! Followed in the evening by the annual Egg Jarping competiton in the local pub. If you've never heard of egg Jarping then have a look at this for further information. Now enjoying a few sunnier days and things are starting to dry out.
